Time: For golf, an early confirmed tee time is typically calmer and less windy; non-resort players can only reserve 24 hours ahead, while resort guests should request golf with their room booking. · For a non-golfing scenic visit, late morning through late afternoon usually gives the best chance for coastal views after morning fog clears. · Late-day golf offers especially good light, but allow for slower pace and daylight risk.
Avoid: Avoid June 14–20, 2027 unless attending the U.S. Open; tournament operations restrict normal access. Also avoid golf days with poor visibility, strong wind or heavy rain.
