Day: Tuesday–Thursday, outside school breaks and holiday weeks.
Time: Arrive at opening for cooler walking and shorter Panda Ridge, Skyfari, and bus lines. · After 3 p.m. on weekdays, when the busiest habitats and transport generally ease. · Use Skyfari East to West after its 10 a.m. opening, weather and operations permitting.
Avoid: Avoid severe-rain or high-heat days if your group struggles with long outdoor hills, and skip days when a must-see habitat or Skyfari is listed closed.

Skip it if

Skip or choose the Safari Park instead if you have only 90 minutes, require a fully flat day without mobility assistance, or primarily want open savanna-style safari views.
