Velana International Airport, Malé: There is no road transfer to Baa Atoll. For most local-island stays, the sensible chain is a domestic flight from MLE to Dharavandhoo (about 20 minutes airborne, but allow 2–4 hours airport-to-airport including baggage and connection), then a pre-arranged speedboat. For resorts, a direct seaplane or resort boat transfer may be the practical option. Expect the full domestic-flight/boat or seaplane transfer to cost several hundred US dollars return; book it through the property before flying, not on arrival.
Dharavandhoo Airport, Baa Atoll: This is Baa’s useful gateway, not a ‘city airport.’ Your guesthouse or resort should meet you with a speedboat; typical onward runs within the atoll are roughly 10–45 minutes, depending on island and weather. There is no dependable walk-up public transfer system for visitors, so do not arrive without a confirmed boat and price.
