Getting in

• Governor’s Harbour Airport: This is the airport you want for a Governor’s Harbour stay. It is roughly 15 minutes by taxi or pre-arranged rental-car handoff from town; expect about US$25–40 for a taxi, depending on party and luggage. There is no airport shuttle and no useful public bus—arrange the car or driver before you land.
• North Eleuthera Airport: Use ELH only if the flight schedule is materially better or you are combining Governor’s Harbour with Harbour Island/Spanish Wells. Governor’s Harbour is about 75–90 minutes south by car; a one-way taxi is expensive (budget well over US$100), so a rental car is the sensible transfer. Do not mistake the short airport-to-Harbour Island water-taxi hop for transport to Governor’s Harbour.
