First visit? Stay in Marina Centro.
It gives a first-time visitor the beach, the widest choice of hotels and evening options, and manageable access to Rimini station and Centro Storico. It is touristy, but in Rimini that convenience is usually the point.

Avoid sleeping near The immediate blocks around Rimini railway station, The noisiest party-hotel streets in Marebello and Rivazzurra, Far-north Torre Pedrera for a short first visit. Useful for arrivals and departures, but not a destination in themselves: the best atmosphere lies in Centro Storico, Borgo San Giuliano or the seafront. Choose here only when train convenience outweighs neighbourhood character.
